Public holiday lessons at The Glades

Queensland golfers Glen Baxter and Neil Herdegen made the most of the Gold Coast show holiday at the Glades Driving Range facility.

Resident supercoach Todd Sleep PGA from TS Golf Academy at the Glades Golf Course on the Gold Coast was generous enough to give Glen a few tips especially considering he was hoping to take the day off.

Glenn travelled from Brisbane with his caddy Ben and was very impressed with the facility at TS Golf Academy and Todd Sleep’s patient teaching style.

“It’s a great facility and we’ve got everything here, I’m sure the rest of the guys will enjoy having the upcoming come and try day here”Glen was heard to say between shots.

Queensland Blind Golf will be holding a come and try day starting at noon on August 28 at TS Golf Academy at the Glades.

The come and try day is open to all blind and visually-impaired players regardless of the extent of the visual limitations.

Anyone interested in attendeding on the 28th can contact the secretary of Blind Golf Qld via email at [email protected] or by calling 0423234843.
