The Innaugural Blind Battle of Bribie

Blind Golf Queensland members played a friendly social game at Bribie Island Golf Course as guests of BGQ member Andrew Wells.
It what promises to be a thrilling annual event, the “Battle of Bribie” turned out to be a great game on a lovely course with good friends.

“These are the types of social games that makes Queensland Blind Golf such a special organisation” said BGQ President Dr Brad Carver.

“What makes it even better is that this our newest member, B1 David Saxberg’s first away game and it’s great for hit to be part of such a great bunch of golfers”.

Gold Coast B3 player, Neil Herdegen took the honours after deciding to keep his wayward driver in his bag for mosgt of the game.

Neil paid special tribute to Bribie Island baker extrodinaire, Andrew Wells for inviting us to Bribie and hosting us at his member course.
